Anarchy Skiffle
02:20
|

Anarchy, anarchy, if I follow you religiously
Anarchy, anarchy, what will you deliver to me?
Work no more, dance all day, make me rich, send my troubles away?
Anarchy, anarchy, will you really set me free?
AI am just a simple girl, I wear my heart upon my sleeve
But I live in a twisted world
I just don't know what to believe
Money first, grab for power, go to church, plant some flowers,
i wear my heart upon my sleeve
I just don't know what to believe.
All I want is answers to the questions in my heart
All you ask is questions, and that's no place to start
Anarchy, anarchy, if I follow you religiously
Anarchy, anarchy, what will you deliver to me?
Work no more, dance all day, make me rich, send my troubles away?
Anarchy, anarchy, will you really set me free?

Sugar Hill
02:14
|
|||
I'm climbing up a mountain of sugar
Got to get to the top of that hill
I need a sweet taste, I need it I do
Cos I've swallowed a bitter pill
Sugar Hill doo wah doo wah
Sugar Hill doo wah
Sugar Hill doo wah doo wah
Sugar Hill doo wah
I'm halfway there, looking up at the top
I look down and I see where I've been
Look back again for a taste of the top
It's the best sight I've ever seen
Sugar Hill doo wah doo wah
Sugar Hill doo wah
Sugar Hill doo wah doo wah
Sugar Hill doo wah
Ain't nothing sweet as a Sugar Hill, not anywhere
You just can't beat a Sugar Hill
I hope I meet you there, oh
I'm at the top of the mountain of sugar
Up in the air so high
Taking the air at the top of the mountain
I'm tasting the blue of the sky
Sugar Hill doo wah doo wah
Sugar Hill doo wah
Sugar Hill doo wah doo wah
Sugar Hill doo wah

If You've Got The Blues
01:45
|
|||
If you've got the blues upon a sunny day
Just kick off your shoes and remember life this way
When we fished in the river and we ran in the fields
we hid in the forest, just remember how it feels:
Looked up in the sky and pretended to fly
Just throw your cares away!
If you've got the blues upon a sunny day
Just kick off your shoes and remember life this way
Throw off your blues and worries and cares,
Put down your heavy load
Kick off your shoes and let down your hair
You're heading down a different road:
If you've got the blues upon a sunny day
Just kick off your shoes and remember life this way.

Bachelor Boys
03:14
|
|||
The bachelor boys are strumming a bachelor noise
The bachelor boys are strumming a bachelor noise
And I wanna do it too, yes I do.
Cos I can climb trees, jump off a wall and fly on the breeze
Yes I can climb trees, jump off a wall and fly on the breeze
I know how to do that too, yes I do
Three cheers for the bachelor boys
Gonna volunteer to join the bachelor boys
Cos I wanna appear with the bachelor boys
Oh yes I do.
So I learned how to play and it took me six weeks and a day
Yes I learned how to play and it took me six weeks and a day
Cos I wanted to join the band, oh yes I did, and I said
Three cheers for the bachelor boys
Gonna volunteer to join the bachelor boys
Cos I wanna appear with the bachelor boys
Oh yes I do.
Now the bachelor boys said come and join us and we'll all strum a noise
yes the bachelor boys said come and join us and we'll all strum a noise
And now I'm playing too
And it's what I want to do
And I say a big thank-you
To the bachelor boys
To the bachelor boys
To the bachelor boys
Mmm-hmmm

Magpie
02:21
|
|||
You're just a magpie, a magpie, you like to steal and cheat
You've stolen my heart with your kisses warm and sweet
Magpie, oh magpie when I looked the other way
You'd stolen her heart too and thrown my love away.
Oh magpie, you came into my yard
Magpie, that's when you stole my heart.
Magpie oh magpie, you turn the ladies' heads
You're after their hearts and the comforts of their beds
Magpie, oh magpie, if only I had known
I'd have my heart broken and be sobbing on my own
Oh magpie, you came into my yard
Magpie, that's when you stole my heart.
Magpie, oh magpie, I'm wise to all your tricks
Magpie, oh magpie, that's how you get your kicks
Magpie oh magpie, just one thing left to say,
Magpie, oh magpie, it's time to fly away
Oh magpie, you came into my yard
Magpie, that's when you stole my heart.
Oh magpie, you came into my yard
Magpie, that's when you stole my heart.

Airship Song

Far in the distance I hear the sound of the rolling trucks going by
Carry my dreams as your wheels turn around at the end of a lonely day.
Over the hills and far away, far from my city home
Over the hills and far away to where my lover lives alone.
And though we live so far apart cos it's what we have to do
He is the one who holds my heart close to his own so true
Over the hills and far away, far from my city home
Over the hills and far away to where my lover lives alone.
One day I'll buy me a truck so fine and head down that road so long
Meet him halfway on the borderline and he'll join me in this song:
Over the hills and far away, far from my city home
Over the hills and far away to where my lover lives alone.
Far in the distance I hear the sound of the rolling trucks going by
Carry my dreams as your wheels turn around at the end of a lonely day.

Pioneer Town
02:52
|
|||
They came, they saw, they never looked again
They won't be back, we've waited here in vain
Our open faces gave the game away
It's not a game, that's what I meant to say.
It must be said, we're off the beaten track
Most visitors have never ever ever come back
I can't resist a certain bitter smile,
But I'll leave first you'll follow in a while
Pioneer town built by foolish men,
I will never come this way again!
They came, they saw, they never looked again
They won't be back, we've waited here in vain
Our open faces gave the game away
It's not a game, that's what I meant to say.

If there's one thing we gotta do,
It's set up home and build us a fire
It's the twilight of life we're heading through:
That's the rose of the soul's true desire
We have loved, we have lost, but this gift we own
Is a s bright as the morning dew
If there's one thing we gotta do,
That's take the rose of the soul's true desire.
So press along, press along
You are not alone, you are loved by me
Welcome home, welcome home
That's the rose of the soul's true desire.
