lyrics

Running away

I'm running away, don't know where my feet will take me
The reasons to stay are fading and you will hate me
But I have snapped the thread that bound me closely to your soul
I'm running away

I'm running away, though shadows will try to chase me
There's nothing to say, no trail if you try to trace me
You will follow you won't find me, fate has closed the door
I'm running away

I don't know when my velvet nest, turned into a velvet prison
Just one day I turned around and found that I am half a person now
I'm running away, don't know where my feet will take me
The reasons to stay are fading and you will hate me
But I have snapped the thread that bound me closely to your soul
I'm running away

I'm running away, I'm running away
