lyrics

Hear the sleigh bells ring ring ring,
Hear the choirboys sing sing sing
Ding dong ding dong
Ding dong ding dong
Ding dong ding dong
Bell

Snow falls cold but makes a blanket our winter world
Softens shapes with gentle silence as the year grows old;
Underneath it's icy beauty, joined but hardly seen,
Holly and the ivy celebrate the Christmas Queen

I'm a prickly holly tree and you're an ivy leaf
Holly leaves are sharp but they are tender underneath.
Twine yourself around my branches, clothes me all in green and
You will melt my winter heart: I'll be your Christmas Queen

I'll be your Christmas Queen
I'll be your Christmas Queen
I've been waiting all year long to be your Christmas Queen

Hear the sleigh bells ring ring ring,
Hear the choirboys sing sing sing
Ding dong ding dong
Ding dong ding dong
Ding dong ding dong
Bell

Holly, ivy, evergreen to scent the Christmas air;
Bound together closely, we can give our love to share.
Past and present and the future, crowned in ivy green and
I will wear a holly wreath to be your Christmas Queen

I'll be your Christmas Queen
I'll be your Christmas Queen
I've been waiting all year long to be your Christmas Queen

(soon the verses will be drowned, smothered by our wall of sound)

Hear the sleigh bells ring ring ring,
Hear the choirboys sing sing sing
Ding dong ding dong
Ding dong ding dong
Ding dong ding dong
Bell
