about

I wrote these a capella jingles for a TV series called 'Pictures of Women' that was broadcast on the brand new Channel 4 (music have been 1982 or 1983?), when I was a mere twinkle in feminism's eye. I don't think they were used (the other music that I wrote was, though: my first serious TV commission). I found them when I was looking through some cassettes, and thought maybe I should share them!
They are comments on the way the mainstream media treats young women. Very little has changed in the intervening years.
